Challenge

Standing out as a pop-up on Orchard Road was no small feat. We needed to design an experience that could shine amidst the hustle and bustle, and also effectively demonstrate the USPs of the HOKA Bondi 9. The challenge was to interpret the range's key features into a tangible and engaging experience to its intended audiences, while delivering a transition from the pop-up to the purchase experience at the HOKA stores nearby.

Solution

Our approach largely focused on making the experience as immersive and interactive possible, highlighting the Bondi 9's comfort and inclusivity. It centred on positioning the shoe as an everyday essential, no matter the activity level. With the emphasis on the shoe's cushioning and the brand's Bondi is for everybody ethos, we planned to create a welcoming and engaging space, drawing a genuine connection between the brand and its products with the visitors, generating their desire to experience the comfort in person.

Execution

In the middle of Orchard Road, we designed and built a striking, large-scale installation that doubles as an inviting space for visitors to relax and connect with the brand. We also developed tactile sizing cards, simplifying the search for the perfect fit and facilitating seamless in-store experience with extras upon purchases made. These cards further extended engagement, directing guests to the HOKA Run Club. Our team managed the project end-to-end, overseeing design curation, stakeholder management, production, logistics, and on-site execution.
