In the Spirit of Singapore's National Day, Tiger took over the streets of Holland Village on 4th and 5th August. Uncaging the Streets through the Tiger DNA.
Fabrik was given the opportunity to conceptualise and execute a Street Activation revolving around the Roar with Tiger Campaign.
Starting from the overall concept strategy of the street festival, we worked on adapting digital assets, physical builds such as the staging and activation decor, as well as the curation and engagement of all roving and main stage acts.
The back to back programming serves to inject energy into the streets of Holland Village from Lor Liput to Lor Mambong.
Our DJ 'Stage" featured a Tiger branded Kombi Van housing vinyl collector DJs, Sam Cheong, Hiddy, Itch and VinylHeavy who played classic asian groove all night. We had balloon sculptors, glitter artist and even local traditional games to bring back that Singapore nostalgia.
Other fringe activity included a roving GIF photo booth and a custom Tiger Percussion installation made from upcycled Tiger crates and bottles by Green Drumming.
Apart from the installation, Green Drumming conducted a 10min percussion workshop teaching consumers the basics of beat making.
Kicking it at the main stage were local cover bands who are no stranger to the scene. Playing weekly crowd favorites at various places such as Timbre, Le Noir, Tipsy Outlets and even the old Wala Wala stage at Holland Village. We rallied these familiar faces and got the crowd singing and moving along from 6-10pm.
